Tripoint Protection Group is actively recruiting qualified Close Protection Agents to support high-level assignments through our Protective Services & Tactical Support Division. This is a contract-based position, and selected professionals will be called upon for mission-specific deployments as needed.

Position Summary
As a Close Protection Agent, you will be responsible for providing physical protection and security planning for individuals, teams, and assets. Assignments may include executive protection, secure transport, site security, threat assessments, and travel-based coverage. Professionalism, discretion, and rapid adaptability are critical.
This role is field-based, often requiring travel and readiness for short-notice deployments.
Responsibilities
- Provide close personal protection for clients in a variety of environments
- Conduct advance work, site assessments, and route planning
- Operate vehicles during secure transport missions
- Maintain situational awareness and threat assessments
- Communicate effectively with principals and team members
- Coordinate with local authorities and partner entities when needed
- Ensure compliance with Tripoint’s operational protocols and standards
- Maintain readiness through ongoing physical fitness and training
- Represent the Tripoint brand with professionalism and discretion
Mandatory Background (must meet at least one):
- Military combat arms (with deployment and/or leadership roles)
- Law enforcement (SWAT, federal agency, or specialized unit)
- Protective Security Detail (PSD) or Protective Security Specialist (PSS)
Minimum Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Able to obtain a U.S. tourist passport
- At least 21 years of age
- Documented field experience in relevant security operations
- DD-214 required if using military service as qualifying experience
- Must be legally able to possess and carry a firearm
- Valid state or federal licenses/certifications (as applicable)
- Strong professional references and clean background check
- High level of physical fitness and commitment to continued training
- Able and willing to travel for assignments
